An Introduction:
By now you have probably heard of the digital currency called Bitcoin. Bitcoin was created as a peer to peer token designed to make transactions fast, simple, and cheap without having to use a bank. They can be sent to someone across the world in a matter of moments or used at your local shop to buy a cup of coffee. If you can imagine a product or service - Bitcoin can pay for it. There's been a lot of talk in the news and on the internet about Bitcoin and other digital currencies. The Bitcoin market has been a volatile roller coaster and many sources have urged people to stay away. I've been interested in Bitcoin for a few years now and I understand why many investors fear it. I also know that people tend to be wary of what they don't understand. With a few mistakes, a lot of research, and an ever-growing caution I have learned quite a bit in the last few years about Bitcoin. Despite it's ups and downs the estimated value of the most popular digital currency has risen since 2013 from around $22/token to almost $20,000/token in less than five years. In my mind that's a pretty substantial increase and something worth paying attention to. I'm not going to ramble on about the history, the moral surroundings, or the economic implications of digital currencies. That's a whole other story. However, if you want to learn a little bit about how Bitcoin works you can check out the short video below.

What am I getting into?
The website that we'll be focusing on as you read has been around since 2013. It combines multiple features which, in part, can be found on hundreds of other similar sites. One such feature which I will discuss later is the gift of free Bitcoin every hour of every day without any up front cost. The creative way in which our subject site uses it's many features is what sets it apart from the others. This ensures a successful environment capable of withstanding the tests of time. The site also provides tools that let you peek behind the scenes at the way it conducts business. This allows you to see for yourself how they manage security, disperse funds, and where they rank in global popularity. Now let's go over the basic outline of why you are here. Once you start the following guide it might take some time to complete so grab a latte and kick up your feet. You will be setting up a wallet to put some Bitcoin into. This wallet is a lot like a bank account in the sense that it will be used to store your valuable currency. Therefore when setting up the wallet you may have to provide some personal information such as identification and a mailing address just as you would if you were starting a savings account at a bank. It's up to you how much you want to deposit into your account, however, there's a minimum balance which you must maintain in order to accrue interest. Your earnings will start immediately and while your holdings grow so will the amount of interest you earn. At first glance you might notice that the site has a lot going on visually and this can be distracting. You'll have plenty of time to explore later. In the beginning try and stay focused on setting up your wallet - it will be your main breadwinner. The site also offers some additional tools to help you increase your profits. We'll go over some of the extras later but for now let's get down to brass tacks and set up your wallet.

Brass Tacks:
What you will need:
What you will need:
- A computer, mobile device, or tablet with access to the internet.
- An email address.
- If you don't own any Bitcoin yet you will also need the ability to upload photos to the internet using a smartphone or digital camera.
1. Before initiating your savings wallet you'll need to set up a user account. It may be easier to open the following link in a separate browser window so you can reference this guide as you work. After you open the link fill in the required fields to sign up and check "I'm not a robot" then click on the "SIGN_UP!" button. Your user account will now be active. When that's done you can return here to continue with step 2a of this guide. Click on this link to set up your user account at FreeBitco.in.
2a. It is HIGHLY recommended that you enable an additional security feature on your user account called "Two Factor Authentication" or 2FA. This will put a solid layer of security between your savings wallet and potential internet threats. If you already use 2FA for other accounts and you know how to set it up you can skip to step 3 now. Setting up 2FA won't take long. Here's how: First you will need to install some additional software. For ease of use I recommend installing the Google Authenticator app on your smartphone or tablet. You'll see why later. The Google Authenticator app is available for Android devices in the Google Play Store and for iPhone in the App Store. It's developed by Google and it's sole purpose is to provide you with a temporary code when you log into your online accounts. Once you have it installed you can return to step 2b of this guide to continue setting up 2FA.
2b. Some people prefer to learn visually so I've included a short video tutorial at the end of this step. Head to FreeBitco.in. You're probably still logged into your account. Click on the "PROFILE" heading at the top of the webpage then click on the blue tab in the middle of the page that reads "2 FACTOR AUTH." You will be notified that a verification email has been sent. Open your email and click on the provided verification link. You may have to click the "OK" button in a popup window and then you'll be redirected back to your user profile where you'll need to enter your phone number into the given field for recovery purposes. You'll also be given some information to read through then you'll see a barcode (a.k.a "QR code") and an alpha-numeric code referred to as a secret key. You're going to want to write this secret key down...
IMPORTANT: BE SURE TO BACK UP YOUR SECRET KEY!
In the future if something happens to your Google Auth device your secret key may be the ONLY way that you will be able to recover your FreeBitco.in account. Write it down on a piece of paper (or two) and hide it somewhere safe.
Finally open the Google Authenticator app that you installed on your smartphone or tablet. If you've never used Google Authenticator before you'll want to click on the "begin setup" option at the bottom of your screen. You can use the information provided on your user profile to complete the action by either scanning the QR code or manually entering your secret key. Once the key is entered you will see a six digit code on your phone screen. Notice the small timer next to the six digit code. When this timer runs out a new code will be created. Enter the six digit code in the provided field on your user profile and click "ENABLE 2FA." The trick here is to get the code entered before the timer runs out and a new code is generated. If the timer expires you will have to try again until you succeed. You are now secure! The next time you log into your FreeBitco.in account , in addition to entering your email and password, you will need to open the Google Authenticator app and enter the provided six digit code.

Congratulations! You are now earning Bitcoin!
It's all fun and games until...
Now that you've set up your account you will start earning free Bitcoin every day. Continue reading and I'll show you some simple methods to increase your earnings and also tell you about some potentially harmful practices you should avoid.
The default landing page for FreeBitco.in is the "Free BTC" page. If you scroll to the bottom of the page you will see a blue "ROLL!" button. You can press this button once every hour. Pressing this button will reward you with the following...
In addition to making extra coin and bonuses every day with your savings wallet and through the free BTC roll you can also earn referrals. Every friend or family member that you invite will get the same benefits from FreeBitco.in as you do. For every referral you bring to the site you will earn commissions on their activities. You can get details on your referral earnings under the "REFER" heading at FreeBitco.in.
Now lets discuss some other features of the site that can be harmful and possibly leave your savings wallet empty - Yikes! You may have noticed by now a page heading on the site named "MULTIPLY BTC." On this page you will find a gambling game. It is essentially a high-low dice game. If you take your chances here I suggest you use extreme caution. Once you start rolling you could easily lose all of your BTC or at very least fall below the minimum balance required for your savings wallet to accrue interest. If this happens you will lose your investment and either be discouraged from the site or you will have to deposit more money and start over. Please be careful!
That said, I personally partake in this game of chance once in a while and I have had great success. On the other hand, by using other websites in the past that offer this type of game I've learned some pretty hard lessons. Through my experience, though, I've acquired some pretty neat tricks that can help give the player a bit of an "edge." I have my own method for the game that seems to work pretty well for me. If your interested in knowing more about my personal method you can click here to learn about it.

- Usually when the button is pressed you will be rewarded somewhere around 0.00000050 BTC (a.k.a. 50 Satoshi) plus bonuses. There's a chance you could roll a lucky number and score somewhere between 100 and 2,000,000 Satoshi! The lucky number chart is displayed on the "Free BTC" page.
- You'll also be rewarded two free lottery tickets. Once a week FreeBitco.in has a lottery drawing that pays out the first 10 winners with BTC. The size of the prize depends on the number of total tickets purchased worldwide. First prize usually pays out somewhere around 1 or 2 BTC. That may not sound like much but that equates to a whole big heap of dough!
- On top of free BTC and lottery tickets you will also be given two reward points for every roll. You can cash in your reward points for gadgets, gift cards, or more bonuses per roll. You'll find details about reward points and prizes under the "REWARDS" heading.
